I have always loved film. Film is what I used when I was first started in photography. It started in the black & white film photography class I took in high school. I had no clue what I was doing and it was on a point and shoot camera where there was no control over my setting. But for me, being in the darkroom developing the film and exposing the paper with my image just seemed to make since.
As life went on I put down the camera until my grandfather gave me my first SLR camera. A Pentax K1000, 35mm. This camera was the catalyst that started my photography career goal. I eventually went to digital because for convenience during the learning process.
But then I found Florida Film Takeover. It’s a local group that was started by Jake Ford and Benjamin Hewett . They meet on a monthly basis and shoot in Florida. This was their 4th meet, this time in Dade City and oh was it a rainy day; but the clouds parted and the rest of the evening was great. I am still in a learning process but thought I did a good job since my first rolls of film in 2007.
In case you are interested I shot on two different types of film.
And this next roll was Fuji Superia 400+1
